Can you really eat the image? Absolutely! Print Delicious, using the patented Chocolography Food Imaging System, prints on to the chocolate using EU approved edible food inks.
How long does it take to have my chocolates printed? Once the artwork (images and text) are approved and the order is paid, we will begin the printing process. Depending on the size of the order and time of year (eg. Christmas is peak order time), it should take about a week to ship your order. We ask for the date your order is needed by to make sure we get it out in time.
What kind of image quality can I expect? The better the quality of the original image, the better the image on the chocolate will appear. Digital photos should be 300 dpi (dots per inch) or greater. Photos that are very dark or blurry can be difficult to use.
What can you print on the chocolates? Anything! You provide Print Delicious with any image or logo, from any media - CD, memory card, mobile phone etc. or indeed a photograph and we can reproduce that image on delicious chocolate for you. However, Print Delicious reserves the right to refuse to print explicit material.
What type of chocolate do you use? For our printed truffles, we use a two layer system i.e. the bottom layer is belgian milk chocolate with a white chocolate layer on top. This is to enable an image to be printed on to a 'white' surface.
On our other products eg. business cards and lollipops we use a different two layer system. This time there is a bottom layer of milk or dark chocolate with a thin layer of hard icing placed on some of the surface. This provides a fabulous base for the reproduction of logos and text and allows for minute detail.
What can printed chocolates be used for? Printed chocolates can be used as a brilliant and unique marketing tool. For example, Print Delicious provides the corporate sector with chocolates printed with the logo of any company or image on any of our products. You can choose from a wide selection of chocolate products from chocolate coins to business cards, lollipops to megabars, chocolate CDs to presentation gift boxes.
Printed chocolates are ideal as wedding party favours and for marking any special occaison.
